Wow, has it really been almost three weeks since my last entry? I have just been so busy at my day job and preparing for the arrival of my third son that my post-Washington DC Triathlon blogging has taken a back seat, but I figured I should at least post a brief update entry before the five of you who still read this blog give up on me.
The next few days are going to be quite eventful for me and my family. Tomorrow morning, I will be participating in the second annual Tom Hoskins Memorial Sprint Triathlon. The first iteration of this event was my inaugural triathlon last year, which I wrote about in my first entry. Upon finishing this race, I will have completed five triathlons within a span of one year. Not too shabby for a guy who was more or less a couch potato as recently as January 2010!
And tomorrow evening, I have planned a special night on the town for my lovely wife. It will be our last getaway together for some time, because the biggest event of our year--the birth of our third son--will take place on Monday! Like I said, an eventful few days! I'll post some pictures of the little guy next week.
In the meantime, below the fold are some of the professional photos taken of me during my race in DC, as well as a video of me crossing the finish line. (Hint: I'm the one with the American flag.)
